With Saturn square Pluto remaining an influence in our lives through most of this year, we continue to receive stressful energies from this match up that can leave not only our emotional and mental bodies stressed but also our physical body.
When one body of the human system is compromised so are the others to some degree as all three bodies are interrelated.
When we are subjected to longer term frictional transits (those of a square for instance), chronic stressing of the physical body gone unchecked can later lead to dis-ease, sometimes many months or even years after the transit has concluded.
By looking to the physical governorship of the signs and planets within a particular transit we are able to define what area’s of our physical health we should be placing our attention on and practicing preventative care during a frictional transit.
In this post, while I am directly addressing the current square of Saturn in Libra to Pluto in Capricorn, these tips still shall remain of benefit for the entire duration that Saturn and Pluto remain in these signs.
These tips are of special importance for those with natal late mutable/early cardinal placements (as the Saturn/Pluto square places the most focus in these degrees) and also for those with placements in other signs that are/will be receiving a square or oppositional aspect to your natal placement from either Saturn or Pluto during their Libra and Capricorn transits.
Taurus and Leo Ascendants: This is of particular importance to you also as your 6th houses of health are governed by Libra and Capricorn respectively.

A quick overview of the physical governorship of Libra and Capricorn.
LIBRA: Kidneys, Lower Back and Ovaries
CAPRICORN: Bones, Hair, Teeth and Skin
We also look to rulership of the natural chart by Saturn and Pluto for better definition of physical area’s needing attention.
Saturn rules Capricorn: Places a greater emphasis on the physical Capricorn structures listed above.
Pluto co-rules Scorpio: Colon, Sexual Organs and Lower Back
When considering the information above, we see a strong emphasis being placed upon the need to place attention to our bone health and organs of elimination along with a focus towards the reproductive system and skin.

NOTE: If you are under the care of a health provider for a chronic condition, or are on a long-term medication treatment plan, you may wish to consult your provider before beginning a course of vitamin/herbal supplementation or implement a dietary change.
The tips I offer below are based upon my personal preferences and what I have found to be effective for myself.
Supplement Recommendations:
For Bone Health: Calcium Magnesium with Zinc and Vitamin D
For Detoxification Organs: Milk Thistle and Dandelion (liver and kidneys), Vitamin D (colon)
For Reproductive Health: Soy (women) Vitamin E (women and men)
For Immune System: B-Complex and Vitamin C
Dietary recommendations:
Limit/Eliminate Refined Sugars: stresses the immune system and can lead to Candida overgrowth.
Add Lemon to your Water: a natural cleanse/detox agent, assists in maintaining alkaline/acidic balance preventing Candida overgrowth.
Increase Foods High in Anti-Oxidants: berries, leafy greens, broccoli, eggs, nuts etc.
Limit/Eliminate Caffeine and Alcohol(red wine excluded): larger quantities stress the immune system and can lead to Candida overgrowth.
Pay attention to Dairy: lactose intolerance flare-up is more likely under stressful transits.
Add more Oats, Brown Rice and Olive Oil: innumerable health benefits and great for trimming undesired pounds too.
Enjoy Herbal Tea’s more: Green Tea (antioxidant rich) Tulsi Tea (digestion/detox/energy) Chamomile (stress/sleep) and Peppermint/Spearmint (digestion).
Skin Care Recommendations:
Moisturize More: Look for natural products with minimal dyes/fragrance which may cause allergies.
Bath in Natural Detox Agents: Sea Salt and Lemon scrubs are fabulous for assisting the body in detoxing.
Sooth Irritated Skin: Chamomile Tea, Olive Oil, Lavender and/or Clary Sage are all wonderful for bathing and Bach’s Rescue Remedy Cream is fabulous for troubled skin.
Avoid Skin Irritants: Harsh laundry and cleaning products, use only fresh towels when bathing (reused towels harbor bacteria).

Lastly, remember to keep yourself well hydrated (lot’s of water!!) and enjoy a bit of fresh air and sunlight daily.
Participation in some form of exercise/stretching on a regular basis is beneficial in preventing energy from backing up on you!
Here’s to a Happy Body even during a stressful transit season! 🙂
