The Full Moon on April 28th, 2010 occurs at 8°07′ Scorpio/Taurus at 8:19 am EST.
Where a Full Moon falls in our charts is where we are gifted the opportunity of becoming Conscious (Sun) of that which has been Unconscious (Moon) as during a Full Moon the Sun shines directly upon the Moon eliminating all shadows.
This lunation is also known as the Wesak Moon and finds its correspondence to Buddha. For those that are interested you can learn more concerning the Wesak Moon and the correlation to Buddha by visiting SouledOut.org
************
This Full Moon finds the Sun conjunct Mercury (just hours before the exact inferior conjunction) in opposition to the Moon in Scorpio and with the co-rulers of the Scorpio Moon (Mars and Pluto) in aspect to both the Moon and Sun this is a powerful lunation!
This lunation occurs on the Taurus (fixed earth) and Scorpio (fixed water) axis. On this axis we find the need to balance our material self with the deepest recesses of our Beings. Taurus craves the good things in life, material things, things that can be tasted and touched and enjoyed with our basic senses. Taurus enjoys simplicity and devotes their energies to obtaining that which is solid and real, that which has substance(matter). Scorpio thrives on the intensity of the experience, on the mysterious and veiled, and finds great pleasure in observing all around them by feeling that which comprises their world. Scorpio is empowered by piercing the veils of the great mystery and experiencing that which broadens our existence into dimensions beyond the seen, the tangible, the known.
By unifying and balancing these two signs we find we are able to walk in both the known, and unknown, and one is enriched by the other. In Taurus we give form and solidity to that which we find expressing within the depths of our Scorpionic self. Here the Scorpionic self is anchored by Taurus and prevented from being “lost to the void” while Taurus is enriched and given depth by Scorpio and prevented an existence of being “lost in matter”.
The Scorpio Full Moon invites us to regenerate our Being by drawing upon the great mystery within and expressing it in a solid, form of substance adding depth and greater dimension to that which is our tangible experience. Mars in Leo catalyzes our creative nature and urges that we stretch our comfort zones in putting ourselves forth with authority and self-assurance in our creations. Pluto in Capricorn encourages and reminds that the time is quickly approaching to break free of the ‘old’ and create forms that are ‘new’ and viable to sustain our current evolutionary form and to operate as a strong base for our continued growth. Jupiter spurs us even farther, reminding that soon he shall join his energies with Uranus in Aries, and that by beginning to foster these initiatives now we will be better able to apply the expansive, full throttle energies to our endeavors and bring forth something that brings new life and expressions to our Being that are beyond the level of our current experience and expression. The conjunction of the Sun and retrograde Mercury assists us in viewing where we need to regenerate ourselves and offers insight on how to go about taking the first steps to begin our processes of rebirth.

Morvah,
Oh no! Still the hand! Hmm…a Leo Sun with a hand that desires to create something and yet is thwarted by a splinter?? Just thoughts…play with them if you wish. 🙂
Wishes for a speedy remedy for this troubled hand of his!
That is so awesome that your daughter and son-in-law make theater masks! Some years ago I went the ebay seller route and thoroughly enjoyed a few successful years of marketing stage costumes. Met some wonderfully, eccentric personalities and had an absolute blast! I would think I would very much enjoy your daughter and son-in-law too..adore creative sorts!
Envy your family dynamics?..lol..have some doozies of my own. Look at your own chart Morvah and you will clearly see you in them, and them in you, right?? Amazing, how that works, and just expands the appreciation of how the All That IS flows us together with such elaborate synchronicity that is beyond awe-inspiring. The web of life..beginning in our own back yards so to speak, and expanding out to encompass the “All” that we cannot even begin to fathom.
{{laughing here}}..forgive my wandering about and musing, have had a huge ‘aha’ personal epiphany this morn, and am in a space of appreciation and awe.
Much Love to You and Yours!

Just to say of course you’re right, good intuition!
Hand very slow recovering in spite of heavy dose of antibiotics and anti- inflamms. Bit stubborn about creativity – doesn’t ‘get’ the importance. We have a week off next week so hope weather is good enough to get away with the paints for a day or two. Beltain should be lived out doors IMO! Hope you are sustaining your renewed enthusiasm. Hugs, Morvah
